Congratulation to Zsofia for her first-author manuscript accepted to the FASEB journal! The paper offers a detailed insight into the substrate preferences of the individual domains of human histone deacetylase 6 that were elucidated using acetylome peptide microarrays and peptide libraries. We believe that these findings can help in elucidating biological roles of the enzyme and facilitate the development of new domain-specific inhibitors as research tools or therapeutics.
