Glycobiology manuscript

10/09/2025

We are pleased to share a collaborative study published in Glycobiology, led by our colleagues at Georgetown University. The work established an efficient system for producing active human heparan 6-O-endosulfatase SULF1, explored its inhibition by marine polysaccharides, and developed new monoclonal antibodies enabling detection of SULF1 in cancer tissues. Our lab contributed by generating antibodies and producing recombinant proteins, providing biochemical expertise that supported functional assays of the enzyme. Congratulations to all team members on this important advance in glycobiology and cancer research!
