New Paper in Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers

Our collaborative manuscript “Multifunctional SAHA-derived 8-hydroxyquinoline metallopharmacophores: HDAC inhibition and antiproliferative activity” has been accepted in Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers. The study, spearheaded by our New Zealand colleagues from the Hartinger lab, explores multifunctional compounds combining HDAC inhibition with the bioactive 8-hydroxyquinoline pharmacophore and transition-metal coordination. Our team contributed in vitro HDAC inhibition assays and cell-based target engagement studies, helping to define how these compounds interact with HDACs and affect cellular acetylation. Congratulations to Christian, Chen, and all co-authors on this collaborative work!
