In close collaboration with colleagues from Masaryk University, CEITEC and Institut Curie, we have discovered a novel polyglutamylation mechanism that controls the signaling and phase separation of Dishevelled 3. This exciting finding opens new avenues for understanding the modulation of protein function in Wnt signalling pathways. The great but painfully long journey is finally over!
